Description d’origine sur Steam

Paint yourself. Disappear.

MONO CHAMELEON is online hide-and-seek on a retro handheld-style screen. The whole world is drawn in four monochrome shades, dithered in olive and cream, and that small palette is the trick: with so few shades to match, a hider who paints carefully melts right into the wall. Seekers hunt them first-person with a catch-gun. Every surface has a pattern, so hiding is also a drawing game — match the wall, or just doodle for fun.

Built for streamers: the tools are all here

- One click on "Create a stream room" sets up audience seats, comments, votes and player turns for streaming (people join with the room code)
- Up to 239 audience seats. When the 10 player seats are full, viewers launch the game and watch from the audience
- For viewer-participation streams: past the player cap, people line up in the audience and play as seats open. In a full room, guests swap out every 1 to 3 matches (the host stays) and viewers waiting with the room code get in by themselves. "Swap out" frees a seat without a kick, so that person can come back
- The audience votes on who will hide to the end, and mid-match on which side to help. Depending on the result, the seekers slow down for 5 seconds, every hider gets an extra decoy, the seekers' guns refill, and so on — small, short boosts
- Audience comments and one-tap reactions ("Nice!", "GG") fly across the screen but never reach the players, so spoil every hiding spot you like. With X-ray the audience can see where everyone is hiding (the host can switch it off in the room settings)
- The host can sit out as the director: cut the camera (or leave it on auto), let the audience vote on the next map, mode and round length, and mute or remove commenters
- Streamer mode starts with the room code hidden as dots. If your face camera sits bottom-left, the chat can move to the bottom-right

Streaming & videos: yes, please! Streams, videos, shorts, screenshots and clips — monetized or not, on any platform — are all welcome. No permission needed. A name-drop of "MONO CHAMELEON" (and a store link if convenient) makes us happy. The music is an original composition. Sound effects are original or CC0 (Kenney), so everything is safe to keep in your videos.

Features:
- 5 modes: Hide-and-seek, Infection, Double (everyone hides, then everyone seeks), Tag, and Prop Hunt

- A real hunt: no radar shows the hiders — seekers find you with their own eyes, so work the angles and listen for the whistle

- Decoys: in hide-and-seek and Prop Hunt alike, leave a stand-in decoy where you were and let the seeker shoot it. The decoy shatters and the seeker is slowed for a moment (3 per round)

- Tag goes shadow to shadow: a low sun casts long shadows, and the Dark team melts into them. Sneak, and you kick up no dust and your footsteps get quieter

- Proximity voice chat, language-agnostic emotes, light text chat (with moderation)
- Save and SHARE your painted look — send your guy to a friend with a code
- Daily challenge with a fresh layout every day, Steam achievements, and emote sets and titles to unlock
- Never an empty lobby: Quick Match drops you straight in, bots fill the empty spots, and late joiners jump in from the next round
- Steam lobbies with friend invites, plus LAN play
- Full controller support — localized in English, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese

Cheap, stylish, and built to play with friends.
