About the game
A PaleoDyne truck crashes on Route 9 and one egg rolls into a storm drain. You're what hatches. Eat your way up from mice to elephants across five chapters, work out how each place fights back, and find your mother. The two men who lost you are waiting at her gate.

A PaleoDyne truck went off Route 9 at 11:47 at night. The paperwork said poultry. It was a sedated tyrannosaur and her two eggs. They found one of the eggs.
You're the other one.
You hatch in a storm drain on Maple Court, two and a half feet long and starving. Something huge is calling from out west, and you already know what it is.
Grow from 2½ feet to nearly 40 feet. Start by stalking mice under porch lights and hiding in a bush from a dog called Duke. By the end you walk through fences and police cruisers without slowing down, and you're big enough to push over a guard tower.
Every chapter has jobs, and most of them have a wrong answer. Pick the geese off one at a time, or get mobbed by the whole flock. Break into a barn full of cows, and a light comes on in the farmhouse. You've got about twenty seconds before two shotguns come across the yard. Roar at a paddock of horses from the right side and they stampede into the back field; roar from the wrong side and you've just chased seven horses onto the county road. Bring down the police helicopter: let it get a good look at you, roar, and bite when it comes in low. Push over the guard towers at Site B, and when the power starts to go, the two contractors who lost you make a run for it, one for the helicopter and one for the lab.
And then a very small car pulls up on the county road. Nobody warned you about the clowns. There are a hundred of them. Roaring helps. The farmers are on your side for once.
There's a PaleoDyne file hidden in every chapter. One of them says what happened to the other egg.
Bosses that fight like the animals they are. The bull plants himself, bellows and throws up dirt before he charges. The elephant bluffs, trumpeting and kicking up dust, then comes at you in silence when he means it. The last one's a tyrannosaur too, and he fights the way you do: face to face, with his jaws.
A town that reacts. Homeowners with brooms, Animal Control with tranquilizer darts, farmers with shotguns, police, soldiers, and, in the last two chapters, a helicopter whose searchlight calls the ground teams in on you. The neighbourhood app lights up with every missing cat. The HOA blames coyotes.
Five chapters, one ending. Maple Court, the dog park, the county fair, downtown and the zoo, then PaleoDyne's Site B, which isn't on any map. She's been calling for twenty-five days.
