HELLEVATOR
Coming soon
About the game
A freight elevator descends the hundreds of floors of hell. Every time it stops, the doors open and demons pile in. KILL. THEM. ALL. Pixel-art carnage, bosses that come apart, and no way back up.
Original Steam description
A FREIGHT ELEVATOR. HUNDREDS OF FLOORS OF HELL. NO WAY BACK UP.
Every time it stops, the doors open.
The demons get on.
KILL. THEM. ALL.
Then it drops again.
YOU NEVER LEAVE THE CAR
It's a steel box. It fills up fast.
Skeletons. Grunts. Things with horns. They don't wait for the next floor.
Wall-jump off the sides. Drop into the crowd blade first.
Nobody gets off.
THEY COME APART
Skeletons detonate into bone. Grunts split in half. Every hit stops the world for a frame. The screen shakes.
The blood stays. It pools on the floor. It paints the walls. It's still there three floors down.
FIGHTING-GAME HANDS
Quarter circles. Half circles. Buffered, so a special pressed during recovery comes out on the first frame it can.
Press it early. It lands on time.
EVERY FIFTH FLOOR, SOMETHING BIGGER GETS ON
The Hangman. The Organ of Dis. Argus Below. The Hollow Seraph.
The Ossuary, built from your own kills.
The Beast.
The thing that runs this elevator.
And at the bottom, him.
Kill it. Three boons hang over the body. Take one.
Every hero has their own. Every run goes deeper.
FOUR HEROES
THE SAMURAI. One sword.
THE CRONE. An axe, a wolf, a bear and a stag.
THE FALLEN. Thrown out of heaven.
THE LAST MARINE. One suit of armor left.
More are going down.
THE DAMAGE IS ON YOU
Your health runs up the car's two steel beams. Your meter is blood in the tanks under the floor: spend it, and you drink it.
Wounds open. Blood runs from the mouth. The world drains to grey and your heartbeat drowns out the music.
When you look like that, you're close.
LOUD
Metal. Start to finish. No quiet floors.
KILL THEM ALL.
