Board Tactica I

Board Tactica I brings together a turn-based strategy campaign and tactical battles on a tabletop-inspired battlefield. Raise armies, develop your cities, and choose your allegiance in a contested medieval world. On the battlefield, illustrated units face off across wooden, grid-based boards where positioning, morale, and command points shape every turn.

Build your army

Recruit infantry, cavalry, ranged troops, and support units, then arrange their formation before battle. Combine different strengths into a balanced force or experiment with a specialized army. Your choices begin before the first move.

Command the battlefield

Spend command points to move and attack. Use terrain to your advantage, protect vulnerable units, and watch your army’s morale as the battle unfolds. Lead your forces through field battles and assaults on fortified settlements, or use automatic resolution to keep your campaign moving.

Keep your campaign supplied

Develop city buildings and balance gold, manpower, and army upkeep. Every new army needs resources, and every investment competes with the demands of the front line. Decide when to strengthen your cities and when to commit your forces.

Choose your allegiance

Competing factions offer distinct troops and advantages. Build legitimacy, unlock units and upgrades, and choose an allegiance that supports your strategy. Follow the changing balance of power as rival armies fight for control of the map.

Experiment in Single Battle

Set up opposing armies and their formations outside the campaign. Try different faction matchups and budgets against the AI, explore unfamiliar units, and test your tactics without risking your campaign progress.

Online battles

An online Single Battle mode is planned for the full release, with Steam lobbies, matchmaking, and score tracking. Online play is not currently available and will not be included in the demo.
