ZERO MASS is a singleplayer space mining game where you pilot a mining spacecraft, carve away rock, collect valuable ore, and build a more capable operation.

CARVE YOUR WAY THROUGH

Excavate asteroids piece by piece, opening cavities and exposing the resources within. Pull loose ore into your hold with your tractor beam, then deliver your cargo and turn the proceeds into better equipment.

BUILD YOUR MINING SHIP

Choose from four distinct ships and outfit your vessel for the work ahead. Expand your cargo capacity, improve your mining equipment, and upgrade cooling to keep your tools working longer. Balance cutting power, collection, and hauling to make every trip count.

TAKE THE NEXT CONTRACT

Accept ore deliveries, survey assignments, artifact recoveries, and asteroid dismantlement jobs. Work toward several contracts at once, move between asteroids, and choose whether to finish the assignment or keep digging.

PUT YOUR EQUIPMENT TO WORK

Deploy mining and collection drones, assign them to an asteroid, and set their priorities. Unlock surface drilling rigs to excavate alongside you while you manage the wider operation.

DISCOVER WHAT LIES INSIDE

Scan your surroundings and recover artifacts buried beneath the surface. Turn discoveries and survey rewards into research for improved scanners and new equipment.

HANDLE THE UNEXPECTED

Face alien attacks, navigate debris, stabilize relays during ion storms, and recover cargo from dangerous wreck sites. Prefer to focus on mining? Peaceful Mining disables random alien attacks while retaining environmental encounters.

Start with a quick job or take on a larger asteroid field. Mine, deliver, refit, and head back out.
