The Curse of Deadwood Heights

Coming soon

Nicola PasaDiscovered Oct 28, 2026

About the game

A glass of mint milk, seven floors of infected neighbours, and one very bad night. Explore a crumbling apartment building, solve puzzles hidden in its residents' lives, and find a way down in this eerie, humorous 2D point-and-click adventure.

Original Steam description

In the attic of Deadwood Heights, a boy begins an ordinary evening with an unusually firm opinion about what belongs in his glass. Downstairs, the building's residents are drinking something else. By the time he goes looking for a neighbour, home has become a maze of locked doors, interrupted routines and very familiar faces with very unfamiliar eyes.

With an unlikely companion at his side, he must make his way through seven floors of a once-grand apartment building. An elegant widow, two estranged sisters, a retired projectionist, an overworked caretaker and a child hidden behind a world of extraordinary toys have all left clues in the lives they lived before tonight.

Read their letters. Study their photographs. Repair their improbable machinery. Discover how the infection entered the building, help those who can still be reached, and learn why getting to the ground floor is only the beginning of getting out.

The Curse of Deadwood Heights combines detailed pixel art, atmospheric music and the gently absurd logic of classic point-and-click adventures with a story about neighbours, memory and the people nobody remembered to count.
