Behind the counter of Gensokyo's strangest shop
You are Rinnosuke Morichika, keeper of Kourindou, the curio shop on the edge of the Forest of Magic. Your stock comes from Muenzuka, where things from the Outside World wash up: umbrellas, wristwatches, cassette players, things with buttons nobody in Gensokyo has ever pressed.Rinnosuke can tell an object's name and purpose at a glance. How it actually works is another matter.
Appraise
Turn each find in your hands, look for the parts that matter, and work out the steps: press, turn a dial, hold, give it a good shake. Rinnosuke will confidently explain what the thing is for, and he will usually be wrong. Get it working without a hint and earn a masterful appraisal; mend what is broken with cloth, oil and glue.Sell
Set your prices and open the doors. Reimu, Marisa, Cirno, Meiling, Sakuya and Remilia each have their own tastes, their own purses and their own way of haggling. Learn what they love from what they say, put the right thing on the table for the right customer, and they will come back as regulars. A red mist is spreading over Gensokyo. You are not the one who will solve it, but the things you sell might be. Each day a little of the incident walks in through your door, and by the end of the week the tools you mended are out there in the night.Features
