Wave & Sort: The Magic Wand Shop

Oh, students! Another one came in for a new wand and left the whole shop in a mess. Bring order back to every elemental hall and to the master's workshop at the center. Every wand is a small riddle, and every hall is a magical world of its own, waiting to be explored.

A heap of wands fills the workshop, with toppled furniture and stray objects scattered across the floor. Place the last wand, and the halls light up in turn as elemental lights gather above the spot where the heap once stood. The shop comes alive, and a special wand bearing every element's color is yours.

Everything in the shop rests on four elements: fire, water, earth and air. Discover a hearth and forge in the fire hall, a fountain and channel in water, a tree and plant bed in earth, and kites, feathers and weather instruments in air.

Work out each wand's element, patron and wood to find its place. A wave lights up matching wands across your whole handful and reveals their patrons; read the wood by its color and grain. Full shelves glow, and completed halls shine in their element's color. Full cabinets unlock illustrated bestiary pages with each patron's story, habitat and contribution to a wand.

One flick of your wand, and dirt and debris are gone, and toppled furniture stands upright again. Once the chaos is cleared, clues show how the hall should look. Carry books, flasks, vases and pots of seedlings back to their halls.

Elemental spirits sometimes claim a cabinet: chase them out with a short wand mini-game. Catch lights in the wand's wave circle, lead them away or repeat a pattern. With the Dispel Spirit upgrade, just wave upward and draw a lightning bolt down.

Every correctly placed wand earns ether. Spend it in the Master's Book on upgrades: carry more wands and items, run faster, highlight lost items and empty spots, follow the Guiding Thread to the right shelf, Summon wands out of the heap, use Item Whirl, auto-sort, zoom in with the Lens and more.

An upgrade tree spreads across parchment pages. Purchases unlock new tiers and reveal notes left by the old master. Keep shelving wands to replenish your spell charges.
