Take your place on the walls of a fortress in a fantasy setting inspired by ancient China, and hold the line alongside your defenders.

Progress from a crossbow to a mechanical repeater and a repeating firearm. Improve fire rate, multishot, and penetration. Shatter shields, detonate powder carriers, and cut down charging enemies with an ever-denser barrage.

Give the order. Let the whole wall open fire!

Recruit archers, improve their equipment, and place heavy ballistae on the flanks. Your defenders engage enemies automatically. Learn the concentrated-fire command, mark an area for a coordinated volley, and finish off survivors with your own weapon.

Keep the farms working and the defenses growing

Establish farms behind the walls and recruit farmers who automatically work the fields and deliver grain, supplying silver for the current battle. Earn skill points in combat and choose new weapon and defense abilities. Spend silver on weapon damage, reinforcements, and repairs. Learned skills and unspent skill points survive a defeat, so you can regroup and try again.

The Azure Dragon approaches. Hold the fortress!

Repel waves of attackers and face the Azure Dragon, White Tiger, Vermilion Bird, and Black Tortoise. Bring your accumulated weapons and defenders to bear, and pour on the firepower before each beast withdraws. Defeat it to unlock the next fortress and continue building your defenses.
