About the game

Original Steam description

Logging is better with friends

Timber Together is a cooperative logging game for 1 to 8 players. You start with a chainsaw, $2,500 and a rented 4x4 in a quiet forest valley. Where it goes from there is up to you and your crew.

Fell, buck, load, haul, sell

  • Fell trees with your chainsaw and drop them where you want them
  • Buck the trunks into logs, carry them on your shoulder or load them with a crane
  • Haul your load down muddy trails, through rivers and up steep climbs with four-wheel drive, low range, diff locks and a winch
  • Sell to buyers around the valley: the sawmill, the furniture workshop, the paper mill and the village craftsmen each pay more for the wood they want

Grow your company

  • 11 vehicles, from a nimble ATV to the Bull, a log truck with its own crane
  • Trailers, garage upgrades and better chainsaws
  • Buy forest land, hire loggers, plant saplings that grow back into trees
  • Take on contracts and watch a market whose prices change through the day
  • Run a farm with a bandsaw mill and a firewood processor

A living valley

Villages with market days, employers with jobs for you, deer in the meadows, day and night, rain and storms. Eight kinds of trees grow here, from pine and fir to oak and walnut, and the best wood is worth the trip.

Play together

Host a game for your Steam friends, invite them through the Steam overlay or play over LAN. Everyone works in the same world and for the same company: one fells, one bucks, one drives the crane, one hauls, and every sale goes into the company you share.
