Coming soon

Kiln StudioDiscovered Oct 27, 2026

About the game

Run a lively Egyptian street kitchen solo or with friends. Brew shai, build ful sandwiches, and master koshary as orders pile up and the neighborhood causes chaos. Cook with up to 4 players locally or 8 online.

Original Steam description

It starts with one tea.

A little counter. A kettle on the boil. Your first customer at the window. In Shai & Shatta, you run an Egyptian street kitchen where a good day means hot food, happy neighbors, and just enough room to squeeze past your friends.

Cook your way through the neighborhood

Start with shai and ful sandwiches, then take on ta'ameya, koshary, the grill, and an outdoor dining area. Prepare ingredients, work the stations, finish dishes, and carry them to the right counter. New dishes arrive gradually, so you can find your rhythm before the lunch rush finds you.

Share the kitchen

Play solo, gather up to four chefs locally, or open an online room for friends, with optional rooms for up to eight players. Divide the prep, pass the food, and decide who is actually watching the kettle. Dress your chef in your own colors and headwear before service begins.

The street has other plans

A power cut sends someone to the breaker. A stray football knocks an appliance off its counter. A fire needs a quick response. Keep the food moving while dealing with the small disasters of a very lively neighborhood.

Make a place people come back to

Earn upgrades, improve your kitchen, and rearrange unlocked layouts in the actual 3D space. Meet regulars and delivery riders, welcome guests at your outdoor tables, and handle that one extra request while they eat.

A warm welcome, in two languages

English and Egyptian Arabic menus, tutorials, and gameplay text. A tactile miniature world, readable controls, and an original soundtrack. Learn your first cup at your own pace, then open the window and see who turns up.
