About the game
You drive an armed war train through a ravaged Wild West, all the way to Fort Alamo. Fit the wagons with turrets, then choose as you go: floor it to outrun the monsters and risk blowing the boiler, or slow down to cut them down and pick up their loot.
Original Steam description
Railsiege is a short-run roguelite set in a post-apocalyptic Wild West. You drive an armed train to Fort Alamo, fifteen stops down the line, with monsters of every kind on the track. Fit the locomotive and the wagons with turrets, keep the convoy moving, and hold out to the terminus.
You set the speed of the train yourself. Speeding up takes you away from the horde, but you leave the loot behind. Slowing down lets your turrets work, but the monsters hit you from the flanks. But watch out: if you go flat out for too long, the boiler explodes and the train can't accelerate for a while.
Between stops, a peddler sells you weapons, items and wagons, and he sometimes has other offers. A defeat sends you back to the first stop, but what you've unlocked stays unlocked.
