Black Death: Russia

A nation on the brink of catastrophe

A deadly epidemic is spreading across Russia. As the authority responsible for the national response, you must make difficult decisions to protect millions of citizens while keeping the country functioning.

BLACK DEATH: RUSSIA is a strategy and management simulation where every decision has consequences.

Manage a nationwide crisis

• Fight the epidemic: Monitor infections, deaths and the spread of disease across Russian regions.

• Strengthen healthcare: Allocate doctors, nurses and hospital capacity where they are needed most.

• Control the economy: Manage government spending, tax revenues, loans and the financial cost of emergency measures.

• Impose restrictions: Introduce quarantines and control transport and borders to slow the outbreak.

• Maintain public trust: Strict measures can save lives but may trigger unrest and resistance.

• Adapt your strategy: Respond to changing conditions and prevent regional emergencies from becoming a national disaster.

Every decision has a price

Closing transport routes may reduce infections but damage the economy. Expanding healthcare requires funding. Harsh restrictions can undermine public confidence.
