Tonight was supposed to be yours. Then two debt collectors arrived, the bathroom started glowing, and Boris finally explained his business plan. He has borrowed eight million to build a second sun. You are the guarantor.
Boris & the Second Sun is a short, story-driven comedy visual novel about a very ambitious cat and one increasingly complicated evening. Read, investigate, choose your replies, and negotiate a way out of a financial catastrophe with surprisingly good lighting.
An ordinary evening, itemized
Inspect suspicious paperwork, answer Mum's call, and meet a tiny civilization that has declared independence in your bathtub. Talk to the collectors, keep up with Boris's explanations, and discover why even the kettle wants paid leave. Optional conversations and clues can change the terms of the final deal.
Keep a small sun in business
In Solar Dispatch, divide limited energy between a laundry service, the bathtub city, and Boris's lunch. Meet demand, earn income, and keep the temperature under control. The puzzle lasts six turns and has no timer. Ask for a suggested allocation, retry the pilot, or continue the story whatever the result.
Choose how to clean this up
The sun is real. The debt is real. Boris's understanding of consequences is a work in progress. Your choices lead to three different endings, with a little warmth beneath the paperwork.
