The Glass Perimeter

Coming soon

DorotechDiscovered Oct 24, 2026

About the game

A night shift on the crest of a dam. Bleed the pressure off the terminals, hide from the glare behind your visor, until the air runs out. The only rest is at a window onto someone else's warm life. A short psychological thriller about sensory overload and life behind glass.

Original Steam description

A shift on the perimeter

You are a watchman on a vast arch dam. Catwalks over the abyss, the spillway roaring across the gorge, lamps flickering in the mist. The job is simple: watch the pressure terminals and don't let the valves blow.

Simple, until a glare hits.

Too loud, too bright

A sudden sound or a flash of light hits like an electric shock: the frame freezes, your ears ring, stress climbs. The damper visor saves you from the glare: its shutters close, the world goes quiet and green. But you can't keep it down for long: the glass fogs up, the air runs out. You can hide in the watchman's booth, but it's too quiet there, and the silence presses as hard as the noise.

In the switch room, arcs crack between the cabinets. You can slip through in a pause between the flashes or with the visor on, but its air won't last long.

The window

On the catwalk there is a window onto a warm living room. Looking through it is the only way to truly calm down. You can't go in.
