School Dream

Your classmates remember what you say. Your dreams remember too.

You start ninth grade at Brookfield Academy, a small private high school in a small Oregon town. It's everyone's first day. Nobody has history you missed, and nobody has decided who they are yet.

Talk to anyone, about anything

There are no dialogue wheels. Type or speak to your classmates in your own words, and they answer in theirs. Each of the eight students in your year has a personality, a home, a private worry, and a life that goes on when you walk away. They form opinions, remember conversations, and build relationships with you and with each other.

No two school days are the same

Who's where, what they're arguing about, and what's going on all change from day to day. Your first month has stories running through it, and they don't wait for you.

After school, go wherever you planned

Make plans with someone and the afternoon happens. Grab coffee, hang out at the park, end up in someone's living room: wherever you agreed to go, you're there, and the conversation carries on. Change your minds halfway and the afternoon moves with you.

Some places are fully playable, with a game of their own:

• Paintball: teams picked in the lobby, cover to break, and a match that remembers who stuck together.

• Fishing: an afternoon at the lake with whoever came along, every rod in the water and every catch counted.

• More playable places are on the way.

Then you go to sleep

The day doesn't stay at school. Your dreams are built from the day you actually had: what it was about, and how it felt. A few of the dreams waiting for you:

• Murder Mystery: question your classmates, find the contradictions, and accuse the killer. You can be wrong.

• Homework Nightmare: a lazy day at the beach, until you remember the assignment due tomorrow, and something in the empty school starts opening doors.

• Journey to Mars: fly beyond Earth and fight what's waiting there.

• No Pants Escape: you came to school without pants. Reach the exit without being seen.
