About the game

Original Steam description
Scrapjump is a co-op horde shooter for 1 to 4 players. You're a crew of scrap robots landing on planets that already belong to other robots, and they want you gone.
After a miniboss the crew shoots open a supply pod. Everyone gets their own weapon cache and decides which arm the new gun goes on. Push a weapon far enough down its upgrade tree and it evolves into a relative. There are 48 guns in 8 families, from rifles and saw discs to beam cutters and tethers.
Every gun carries a cartridge:
Two arms, two mouse buttons
Your mouse aims. Left click fires the left arm, right click the right one. Nothing aims or fires for you, so you can keep a beam on the big one with one arm and hose down the swarm with the other. Space is a dash for when they get too close.Build your robot during the run
Everyone lands with two scrap pistols. Kills drop shards, shards level up the whole crew, and on every level-up each of you picks one of three cards: upgrades for your guns and your robot. The fight pauses while you choose.
- Impulse arcs lightning to nearby enemies
- Heat sets them on fire, and burning wrecks pass it on
- Cryo slows and freezes, and frozen kills shatter
- Gravity drags them into a small well
Five planets, five Wardens
Every planet has a Warden. You fight it twice as a miniboss, and the third time it's the real thing.- Rustport: the Crane Warden throws cargo crates at you.
- Dustfall: the Burrow Warden tunnels under the crew and comes up beneath you.
- Cryoforge: the Prism Warden sweeps a lance across the field. Find cover.
- Verdigrid: drones keep repairing the Relay Warden. Shoot them first.
- Ironveil: the Bastion Warden is armored in front. Get around it.
There is no last planet
Between landings you're back aboard the Wayward. Spend cores on your arms or your chassis, then vote on where to jump next. It doesn't end. Every jump gets a bit harder, and the run is over when the whole crew is down at the same time.Made for a crew
- Online co-op for up to 4, through Steam invites or a crew code
- XP is shared, but cards and weapon caches are your own
- Get downed friends back on their feet, or join a run that's already going
- Solo works too
