About the game
Description d’origine sur Steam

Taskbar Kingdom is a medieval idle game that lives along the bottom of your desktop. Your castle, your villagers and your army sit right above the taskbar — while you write, code, browse or watch, your realm keeps growing on its own.
Everything outside the game passes straight through: clicks go to your desktop, your windows stay usable, and the kingdom is there whenever you glance down.

The Crown has entrusted you with a small, forgotten castle on the frontier. Send villagers to the fields, the forest and the mine. Gather resources, upgrade your buildings and raise your castle, level by level.

Raiders come at intervals — swordsmen, axemen, archers, crossbowmen, and catapults that target your walls. Train swordsmen, spearmen, archers, crossbowmen and knights, then build watchtowers and stretch walls between them. Battles play out on their own, right on your screen.
Lose a fight and you're plundered, but you never start from zero. Repair, regroup and come back stronger.

Once your castle stands firm, take the fight to them. Send troops on expeditions that last from minutes to hours in real time. Every expedition is a real choice: while your soldiers are away, your castle is weaker.

Expeditions lead across a hand-crafted map of regions, each with its own reward. Every region you take is yours to keep. Earn renown and climb the ranks: Marcher Lord, Knight, Count, Marquis, Duke and, at last, Hand of the Crown.

Lives on your desktop borderless, transparent and always on top, with clicks passing through to your desktop.
Three kingdoms to serve each with its own strengths and trade-offs. None is simply "the best".
Five unit types, watchtowers, walls and real-time raids.
Loot and chest items across six rarities, from Common to Mythic. Merge duplicates into stronger gear.
Skill tree with three branches, earned only by playing.
Quests that guide you without holding your hand.
Resize and move the scene to fit your screen.
No pay-to-win. Ever.
