A nice day at the seaside. That didn’t last long.

Beach Side Chaos is a side-scrolling beat ’em up where a British holiday turns into a running fight across the seafront. Pick Chavvy Colin, Sheila Steel or Big Boy Ross and take on Steve Barage’s thugs, from the Seaside Strip to his Grand Hotel penthouse.

THREE FIGHTERS. NINE STAGES. ONE BAD HOLIDAY.

Fight through beaches, the promenade, an arcade, a fairground, the harbour and the Grand Hotel. Each stop brings its own hazards, enemies and bosses — including a lift ride that won’t improve your holiday.

MAKE A PROPER MESS

Punch, kick, dodge, grab and throw. Pick up weapons when the locals stop playing nice. Land hits to build your special meter, then spend it on a special attack or save it for a full-bar super.

GO SOLO OR BRING A MATE

Play the campaign alone or team up for local two-player co-op on the same PC. Choose different fighters and share the screen as you clear a path through the chaos.

Two players on one keyboard — no controller required. Disconnect any controllers before selecting Local 2 Player from the main menu. The game automatically assigns separate keyboard layouts: Player 1 uses WASD to move, J to punch, K to kick, Space to jump and L for specials; Player 2 uses the arrow keys to move, U to punch, I to kick, O to jump and H for specials. Choose different fighters, then select Ready for each player to begin. Controls can be remapped in Advanced Settings.
