Descrizione originale su Steam
This game is a book to be browsed and read.
It consists of a collection of images, pre-generated by artificial intelligence,
that summarize the biblical Book of Exodus, with the addition of episodes drawn from
the biblical books of Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy,
all integrated into a single, continuous narrative.
Each image automatically scrolls across the screen to provide
a general overview, followed by a caption to read.
The aim of the game is to spark the reader's imagination
and encourage spiritual reflection on a specific topic, namely,
answering the question: when and where did God reveal Himself to humanity?
The narrative follows the journey of the Hebrews as they depart from Egypt
under the leadership of Moses, heading toward Mount Sinai, the place where God
reveals Himself to humanity with power visible to all.
The story then continues by tracing the path to the Promised Land, the region
situated between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea.
Particular attention is focused on the figure of Moses, spanning the time
from his birth to the day of his death.
Through him, God struck Egypt and Pharaoh with ten great supernatural plagues,
even parting the waters of the Red Sea to open a direct path toward the desert
of Mount Sinai.
On that mountain, God revealed Himself to man in the only way possible on earth:
with a body of humanoid appearance, not made of flesh, but of something eternal
and transcendent, like a blend of fire and precious metals.
This was not the full vision of God, the beatific vision enjoyed by the angels
and saints, but for Moses and all those who witnessed it, it was the experience
of a genuine encounter with God.
