About the game
The nightmare you tried to forget has finally found its way back.
Immerse yourself in Backmare, a psychological survival horror experience designed to twist your reality and test your sanity. Here, survival is not merely about running away—it is about piecing together a fractured truth forgotten by time.
THE STORY
Exactly one year after the unsettling and mysterious event of 2007 involving the missing children, you are drawn back into the dark. Investigate heavily atmospheric, deeply unsettling scenarios where every shadow holds a memory, and every corner conceals a threat. Decipher the intricate layers of a rich, complex lore before whatever is lurking in the abyss catches your scent. Your past is no longer a memory; it is a predator.
SURVIVE THE UNKNOWN
Step into a meticulously crafted world of dread, where high-tension gameplay meets a deeply psychological narrative. Every sound, every flickering light, and every puzzle solved brings you closer to the truth—or closer to your demise. Keep your wits sharp and your senses alert; the environment is as unforgiving as the entities within it.
Can you survive Backmare?
A NEW HORROR ANTHOLOGY
The nightmare is just beginning. Backmare is an episode-focused series crafted for those who dare to dig deeper into a complex, overarching lore. Prepare yourself to face the first standalone chapter of a dark, expanding universe.
Face your fears. Survive the dark. Decipher the nightmare.
