About the game
Tokyo, at night, in the rain. Twelve years after vanishing, Kyōsuke Narumi returns to Shinbashi and walks straight into a war between yakuza families. An open-world crime saga: brawls, katana and gunfights, police chases, mountain-pass races and a shinkansen to the old capital.
Original Steam description
Tokyo. At night. In the rain.
KUROSHIO — NEON BLOOD is an open-world yakuza crime saga set in a nocturnal Tokyo: red-lantern alleys, neon-soaked avenues, elevated expressways and the docks where the dirty money flows.Twelve years after he vanished, Kyōsuke Narumi — the "Ghost of Shinbashi" — steps off the shinkansen into the rain. His mother is gone and left a debt behind, his brother now wears a rival family's crest, and the Ryūgū-gumi has started squeezing the bars of his old street. Who you listen to, which door you kick in and whose hands you leave the ledger in decide how the story ends.
A city to take back
- Explore on foot, by car or by taxi districts inspired by the real Tokyo: Shinbashi and its yokochō alleys, Ginza, Toranomon, Tsukiji, Akasaka, Tsukishima, the northern districts and the bay.
- Rainy, stormy nights with crowds in the streets, traffic and trains running on their lines.
- Ride the shinkansen to Miyako, the old capital: temple stages, a tunnel of a thousand torii, lantern-lit hanamachi and its own stories.
- Drive up Mount Oboro: ten hairpins above the city lights, a mountain village with a soba house and a hot spring.
The street has its rules
- Fight with your fists, a bat, an iron pipe, a tantō or a katana — or reach for a pistol, a shotgun or an SMG.
- Every crime raises the heat: patrol cars come after you, and it's up to you to lose them.
- Collect protection money, step into the underground ring, win street fights and take jobs from the contract board.
Behind the wheel
- Turn on the radio, follow the GPS, tune your car at the garage.
- Race rival drivers down the mountain pass, chain drifts and run deliveries without spilling a thing.
- Night races through the city and the expressway, and a shift as a cab driver.
Tokyo nights
- Chō-han in the gambling den, pachinko, karaoke, darts and the shooting gallery.
- Buy property, a penthouse sixteen floors up, new suits and a tattoo.
- Bathe in a sentō or an onsen to heal — the police lose your trail while you soak.
- 58 omamori hidden across the map, and a photo mode for your best nights.
Your choices weigh
- A five-chapter story with cutscenes and dialogue choices: sometimes answering is as dangerous as fighting.
- 51 side stories across Tokyo, Miyako and Mount Oboro, with their own characters and epilogues to the main story.
- Spoken in Japanese, with subtitles.
