About the game

A gory, satirical rogue-autobattler. Your grunts fight on their own: you pick where, gear them up and recruit more, turning four nervous riflemen into an exploding horde. High Command always wants more.

Original Steam description

How many grunts does it take to win a war?

High Command has the answer: more.

SEND MORE GRUNTS! is a gory, satirical rogue-autobattler. You never aim and you never shoot: your grunts fight on their own. You decide where they fight, what gear they get and who joins the army next, and you watch four nervous riflemen grow into a screaming horde of machine guns, tanks, flamethrowers and mortars.

Features

  • Autobattler mayhem: hundreds of tiny soldiers, tracers, blood and explosions, all fighting by themselves.
  • Grow the horde: every victory brings pay and recruits. Put up recruitment posters to add new classes: machine gunners, grenadiers, medics, mortars, tanks, flamethrowers, sidecars and more.
  • Gear up: dozens of equipment upgrades that boost whole classes and stack into ridiculous combos.
  • Risk it or play it safe: pick a quiet sector or a hot one for more pay and more grunts. Lose three Morale Flags and High Command court-martials you.
  • Formation: tough ones in front, fragile ones behind, flankers on the side.
  • Promotions and heroes: big classes rise from Corporal to Captain, and Captains bring heroes.

Call it in

Airstrikes, artillery barrages, smoke, supplies and a very brave pigeon. Click the battlefield and watch the sky do the rest.

Satire with a mustache

Absurd telegrams from High Command, shady visitors with shadier offers, cavalry in metal corsets, gas, rats with a cannon, and the dreaded Baron Bigote in his triplane.

Free demo

Fight the whole first front, the Mud Trenches: 20 rounds, 12 classes, dozens of upgrades and the Baron himself. The full game adds two more fronts, more classes, more enemies and far more explosions.
