About the game

You are the night operator of a starship. Watch the cameras in the ship's compartments, spot what has changed and report it before the anomalies take over the ship.

Originalbeschreibung auf Steam
Anomaly Watch: Starship is a pixel horror game where you watch a starship through security cameras. Find what has changed and report it before there are too many anomalies. Anomalies appear at random, so you can play again and again.

Your night shift

Your shift lasts from 10 PM to 5 AM. Switch between the six cameras and watch every compartment.

Spot what changed

A light flickers or changes color. An object disappears, moves or turns into something else. You hear a sound in an empty compartment or see someone who should not be there.

Report it

Press REPORT and choose the compartment and the type of anomaly. A wrong report counts as a mistake. Too many mistakes or too many anomalies end the shift.

Flashlight and EMF detector

A compartment can go dark. Turn on the flashlight to see what is inside. The EMF detector counts the anomalies in each compartment.

Random anomalies

The game picks the anomalies at random, so each shift brings new changes in a new order. There are 37 different anomalies. On harder levels they appear faster and you can make fewer mistakes.

Aboard the starship

The cameras show the Isolation Ward, Living Quarters, Docking Bay, Armory, Command Module and Observation Deck. Earth outside the window may turn into a different planet, or a portal may open outside. The creature in the capsule can change. A rifle can go missing from the Armory, and a floating eye with tentacles can show up in the Isolation Ward.

Features

  • 37 anomalies, picked at random every shift
  • Six security cameras on one starship
  • Four difficulty levels, from Easy to Hell
  • A tutorial that explains every type of anomaly
  • Screen filters: VHS, CRT monitor, security camera and digital recorder
