Five horses. Six boxes. £50,000. A championship to chase.
Start with five horses, six boxes and £50,000. Name your stable, choose your colours and take charge of a British racing yard in Stable Champs, a single-player horse racing management simulation.
Choose a Flat or Jumps career. Buy and train your string, build your estate, hire your team and plan a season against rival trainers. From finding the right race to watching your colours hit the front, every runner gives you something to play for.

Chase the Golden Silks. Then defend them.
Become Champion Trainer and earn the Golden Silks. Winners decide the domestic championship, with prize money and then top-three finishes breaking ties. One big afternoon can change your season; keeping the winners coming is the real challenge.
Your career continues after the title. Wear the Golden Silks the following season, defend your crown and build a lasting place in the honours. Pursue 25 achievements, from your first winner to the Derby, the Grand National and consecutive championships.

Know your horses. Find their opportunity.
Study each horse’s form, ability, preferred trip and ground alongside fitness, condition, fatigue and sharpness. Find suitable races, set campaign targets and decide whether to run now or give your horse more time.
A promising horse needs the right opportunity. Choose where to test it, learn from each run and build a campaign around what it does best.

Train with purpose. Give your jockey a plan.
Set individual development programmes or let your assistant manage the daily work. Balance speed, stamina, settling and racecraft with recovery and race preparation, plus jumping development for your Jumps runners. Longer-term schooling can help a horse become more familiar with a different running style, trip or ground.
Choose your rider, weigh their form and suitability, and set instructions for running style, effort and route—or leave the decisions to the jockey. Retain a rider to build a partnership with your yard.

Find your next prospect. Build your bloodlines.
Study the auction catalogue and enter the bidding. Buy and sell as your string develops, balancing potential against the price and the space in your yard.
Give eligible retired horses a future in breeding and stud. Stallions can earn covering fees and broodmares can contribute to your next generation. Inspect and name your new-season prospect, then decide whether to bring it into the stable.
Build the yard behind the winners.
Watch your estate change as you develop its facilities. Expand your stable accommodation and gallops, invest in veterinary care and rehabilitation, and improve staff facilities, the racing office, transport and nutrition. Building work takes time while the season carries on.
Recruit staff, negotiate contracts and keep the finances working. As your reputation grows, attract yard, silks and travel sponsors. Compare their terms, negotiate for more and chase the results that earn bonuses and better renewals.

From the parade ring to the winning post.
See your runner in the parade ring, study the field and follow the action in RaceTV. Watch through the broadcast view or switch to full-screen cinema mode, with animated 3D horses and jockeys, commentary and racecourse atmosphere. Mark runners to keep track of your colours through the field.
Follow Flat races out of the stalls and Jumps runners over hurdles and fences. Then study the official result and head to the weighing-room debrief: your jockey’s account, the key moments, the yard’s assessment and the next decision.
Read the form. Back your judgement.
Compare runners and odds in StableBet, build your bet slip or use the on-course bookmakers before the off. All bets use fictional game currency.

A racing world that remembers.
Read The Racing Ledger for weekly stories drawn from your career. Follow horses and trainers, track yards in form and watch the title race develop. Your results become headlines; past newspaper editions, season records and career honours preserve the story.
Play at your own pace with automatic saving. Your horses. Your colours. Your shot at the Golden Silks.
