About the game
Climb a haunted Japanese Pagoda in this pachinko roguelite. Build a bag of enchanted balls, fuse powerful evolutions, and place pegs mid-shot to turn a falling ball into a huge combo. Unlock new characters and defeat the guardians standing between you and the Emperor.
Original Steam description
Build your bag. Shape the board. Climb the pagoda.
Pegoda combines bouncing-ball combat with the choices and surprises of a roguelite. Assemble a build of enchanted balls, special pegs and talismans, then put it to the test across five Japanese-inspired floors.
Make every bounce count
Aim for a chain of ricochets and watch your character turn the combo into attacks and finishers. Buy special pegs to reshape future boards, then place extras during a shot to extend a chain or attempt a last-second save.
Fuse powerful evolutions
Combine two balls into one with both sets of abilities. Discover special recipes to create evolutions, then fuse evolutions into super evolutions. Build around lightning chains, growing pegs, heat or echoes, and find the talismans that make your plan work.
Find your fighting style
Begin as the Ronin, Shinobi or Shrine Keeper, each with a distinct starting kit and passive. Earn more characters through victories and challenges, then discover how their abilities change your next ascent.
Take a detour for treasure
Choose between merchants, forges and unexpected encounters. Visit safe bonus rooms packed with coins, moving catch pads and a mix of single-ball and multiball challenges. Clear every peg for an extra haul.
Climb to the emperor
Cross lantern-lit gates, jade gardens, fiery halls and stormy belfries on your way to the throne. Face guardians with their own boards and mechanics. A failed run ends the climb. Unlocked characters and ascension ranks carry into your next run.
