Chess Online: Grandmaster's Table is a 3D chess game made for the moment you sit down, look at the board and think about your next move. Polished pieces catch the lamp light, the room glows behind the board, and across the table there is always someone ready to play: a real player online, one of eight AI opponents, or a friend sitting right next to you.
Play chess online – rated, real and on the line
Pick a table, find an opponent and play rated online chess against real players in Bullet, Blitz and Rapid. Every result moves your Elo. Both players pay the table's entry in coins and the winner takes the pot, so every game of this online chess game matters. Higher tables open as you level up.
Just want to play chess with a friend? Create a game code, send it, and start a friendly match with no coins and no rating at stake.
Eight AI opponents with their own style
Theo has just learned the rules. Marcus always attacks the king. Viktor loves a sharp gambit, Ada squeezes you slowly and Sofia barely misses in the endgame. And The Engine plays at full strength, with no mercy. From 400 Elo to full engine strength, there is always a next opponent to beat. Use up to three hints and takebacks while you learn, or play without help for the full coin reward.
Two player chess on one PC
Playing chess with someone in the same room? Choose Same Screen, where the camera turns to face whoever is moving, or Split Screen, where each player sees the board from their own side. A proper chess game for 2 players, with no account, no coins and no rating to worry about.
Build your collection
Earn coins in every game and spend them on new piece sets, boards and rooms: Rosewood Staunton, Carrara Marble, Smoked Crystal, Brass and Bronze, Onyx and Gold, the Midnight Library, the Champion's Lounge and more. Everything is earned by playing. There are no microtransactions.
Learn from every game
After each game, the review shows the accuracy of every move, and you can copy the full game as PGN. Switch between 3D chess and a clean 2D board at any time, and turn legal-move dots, last-move highlights and board coordinates on or off.
