About the game

A fantasy story game about a long road and the people who walk it with you. Choose your path, fight with timing and skill, grow close to your companions, and face an ending shaped by every choice you made.

Original Steam description

Every choice on the road to the Cradle shapes who you become, and what it costs.

Elara survives one impossible night and what comes after turns into a road: companions who join her, enemies, and an answer waiting at the Cradle that no one can give her but herself.

Ember and Ash: The Cradle is a story game in five acts.

A road, not a hallway

Every stretch of road between story beats is its own small journey: forks with no hint of what’s down them, fights, hazards, roadside finds and quiet moments by the water.

Battles you play, not just watch

Every fight gives you choices: attack with the spell that fits you, defend, heal or call on your companion. Then you carry it out yourself and your skill decides the result.

Choices that matter

Your choices lean you one way or another. It changes the dialogue options, changes the relationships and shapes the ending you reach.

Friends, and something more

Spend time with your companions, and see how far the trust goes.

The road ends where you took it

There is no wrong road, only the one you chose. See where it leads.
