Germline is a single-player idle growth game that begins with one founder cell. Raise and collect 60 species, from bees and sunflowers to wolves, tigers and octopuses. Watch each organism grow through four life stages: Founder, Developed, Juvenile and Adult.

Build a living machine

Pulse the heart for energy, place organs and connect them to shape your production. Research mutations, discover synergies and develop automation as your organism grows. Combine active play with idle and offline progress, then return to choose your next upgrade.

Find your next favourite

Choose from five starter species and unlock more by raising new species to adulthood. Reproduce for a chance to discover new colour forms, and crossbreed unlocked species for another chance at rare morphs. Develop a habitat with multiple residents and keep track of the specimens and discoveries you want to remember.

Expand beyond one organism

Send clones across the Network, capture nodes and create universes. Grow civilisations, explore their stories and choose how your worlds develop. When you are ready, reset reality and carry permanent upgrades into a new beginning. Later progression opens challenges, ecosystems and multiverses.
