Roadmap

About the Game

DISTORID is a first-person psychological horror and paranormal investigation game where evidence is only part of the investigation.

Enter haunted locations, complete contract objectives, use specialized equipment and determine what kind of entity is haunting the area. Every investigation requires you to pay attention not only to the evidence you collect, but also to how the entity behaves.

IDENTIFY THE ENTITY

Search for paranormal evidence using investigation equipment such as EMF detectors, thermometers, UV lights, Spirit Boxes and other tools.

Possible evidence includes:

• EMF Level 5

• Fingerprints

• Ghost Orbs

• Ghost Writing

• Freezing Temperatures

• Spirit Box responses

But evidence does not tell the whole story.

OBSERVE ITS BEHAVIOR

Different entities behave in different ways.

Some become more dangerous under specific conditions. Others react to temperature, electricity, nearby players or physical objects in the environment.

Learning these patterns can help you identify what you are dealing with before the investigation becomes deadly.

SURVIVE THE HUNT

Paranormal activity can escalate into a Hunt.

When that happens, your equipment and observations are no longer just tools for gathering evidence — they may be the difference between escaping and becoming another victim of the location.

DISTORID is built around two ways of understanding the paranormal:

EVIDENCE

+

OBSERVABLE GHOST BEHAVIOR

Finding the evidence is important.

Understanding what is hunting you may be even more important.
