X Marks the Orc is an auto-battler roguelite. Before each fight, call a play, mark who dies first and give each hero a job, then watch the battle play out. Between fights, buy and merge units to build a stronger party.
Call the play. Play cards set your formation and every unit’s assignment, drawn on the field before the fight.
Mark and command. Put a Kill mark on the enemy that must fall first. Make your knight taunt the brute, your cleric heal the knight and your wizard polymorph the shaman.
Watch the fight unfold. Your heroes carry out your orders on their own. Afterwards, see which orders worked and what won or lost the fight.
Read your enemies. Every enemy follows a simple rule you can inspect before you commit.
Gather your party. Buy units, draft new plays and fight through escalating battles and bosses.
Unlock as you play. New units, plays and arenas join your collection.
