Road Riot is a vehicle survivor roguelite about ridiculous weapons and staying alive behind the wheel. Fight through growing hordes, collect upgrades and turn an ordinary ride into a machine that clears crowds. Set in a strange ’80s world, it brings warm pixel art, a groovy soundtrack and plenty of things that should never have been fitted to a car.

MAKE EVERY TURN COUNT

Your weapons fire automatically. You handle the driving. Slip through gaps, line up attacks and pull enemies into the path of your weapons. Keep moving, watch your surroundings and leave yourself a way out.

Every car comes with Nitro. Burst through danger, ram enemies and escape a closing crowd. Upgrade it for longer bursts, burning tyre tracks and a ring of fire that makes your getaway hurt.

BUILD SOMETHING RIDICULOUS

Fit your car with spinning saws, rockets, tractor beams and weapons that turn everyday junk into a serious problem. Scald crowds with hot coffee, unleash a tornado from a bottle or send a ghost of your car charging along the route you just drove.

Choose weapons and add-ons as you level up. Take Tunes that change how your weapons behave, find compatible equipment and unlock powerful evolutions. Build around close-range damage, cover the road in hazards or tear through enemies from a distance.

PACK A FEW DIRTY TRICKS

Gadgets put another set of tools under your control. Blast enemies back with the Groove Horn, draw a crowd into an exploding Disco Decoy or raise a Bubble Shield when you need breathing room. Equip Mines to leave timed explosives for whatever is chasing you.

Pick your gadgets before heading out and upgrade them in the Garage. Bring extra damage, crowd control or protection to suit your car and weapons. Knowing when to use them can save a run.

PICK YOUR RIDE. HIT THE ROAD.

Start small or bring something completely unreasonable. Unlock hatchbacks, buses, ice-cream trucks, heavy machinery and tanks, each with its own starting weapon and strengths.

Speed, handling, health and equipment capacity change how each vehicle plays. A nimble car can weave through trouble; a heavier ride asks you to plan your turns and make its strengths count. Keep driving your favourites to earn mastery rewards, unlock alternative starters and collect new paint schemes.

PICK YOUR MIXTAPE

Choose a Mixtape before a run to give your build another twist. Boost your speed or health, strengthen particular attacks or change how your equipment works together. Match your tape to your loadout and give the same car a different way to fight.

EVERY ROAD HAS ITS PROBLEMS

Fight through drive-ins, roadside motels and increasingly dangerous maps. Each brings its own enemies, hazards and bosses, with attacks that demand more than driving in circles.

Break away from the crowd to grab supplies, tackle events and collect toolboxes. Learn the boss patterns, find room to dodge and keep your car running until the road is yours.

Your run’s build ends when your car does. Your earned scrap, unlocks and permanent upgrades stay.

Head back to the Garage, improve your stats, upgrade your gadgets and prepare your next loadout. Try another vehicle, chase a different evolution or turn up the Heat for a tougher drive.

Hi guys, indeed I used AI to help me with automated tests, the game is massive and it is hard to test all 250 weapons and gadgets and more. I also made art with AI for the game because i just cannot afford buying so much art... I bought some enemies and textures before AI was avaialble.
