Ember Reaches

Ember Reaches is a single-player idle RPG set beneath a shattered celestial ring. Choose an origin, prepare for the road and slowly reconnect nine fantasy realms through gathering, crafting, exploration and the choices you make along the way.

Prepare, progress, venture farther

Gather resources, grow provisions and turn your finds into equipment and supplies. Your selected action repeats while the game runs, letting you plan your next expedition as your workshop works. Use action queues, manage limited inventory space and trade with local merchants to support the journey.

Reconnect nine realms

Survey routes across plains, forests, islands, deserts, frozen frontiers and the skies beyond. Discover gathering sites, meet the people of 27 settlements and fulfill regional commissions. Five origins bring different personal chapters to the same world.

Explore 27 ruins

Enter ruins with the equipment, food and supplies you have prepared. Room hazards and enemies make preparation matter. Study the relics you recover, improve your skills and return to cleared ruins for repeat expeditions.

Six dragons, more than one path

Resolve each dragon's story through combat or covenant. Learn what its region needs and decide how to approach it. At the end of the journey, choose the future of the celestial ring through two distinct endings.

An adventure at your own pace

Develop 19 skills and a separate journey rank, with progression up to level 200. Enjoy original pixel-art landscapes, creatures and equipment, alongside 48 achievements that mark milestones across the journey.

Progress continues while the game is running, including when minimized. Pausing stops the journey; closing the game or putting the computer to sleep does not earn offline progress. Play using a mouse and keyboard, with local autosaves and manual save import and export.
