Knightwatch

The dead walk the only road home. Every one of them carries a word.

SHIFT KNIGHT is a horror typing game. Sigmund and his driver take an old truck through Brackmoor Fen, the Rust Barrens, Ashfield Waste and Mourn Terminus, to clear the hordes of undead. Type the word over a corpse's head and the knights fire. Miss, and they won't make it back.

Nobody can tell you where the dead came from. A strange boss waits at the end of the road. The Order keeps sending instructions.

When you need your screen back, switch on endless mode. The fight shrinks to a strip along the bottom of your desktop and the watch goes on while you work. Come back to a longer road and a conversation you missed.

Your clicks stay yours. On the desktop the game counts that you clicked and nothing else. Nothing about your clicks leaves your machine, and the keyboard is only read while the game window has focus.
