A unique roguelike word fusing mutant breeding game

In Battlegenics, a creature is built from four parts, and each part is a WORD. Fuse parts, you fuse words and now you have a combo. 

Fuse what you fight

The monsters you defeat become your loot. Drag a fallen body onto one of your creatures and they fuse into one. Two different words can fuse into a word you've never seen. Breed the same part twice and it gains stars. Breed relatives and you might bring out a hidden defect, which with the right word can become the strongest thing in your army.

Build the board

Each creature carries a board of word slots that grows with every generation. Words that fit each other light up and hit harder. A board where every word fits rings. Buy words, level them up, lock one in so its line never loses it, and arrange six creatures whose sentences set each other off.

You are the gorilla

Six creatures take on hordes of hundreds in real-time auto-battles. Burns spread, chains jump, shields stack and bosses speak sentences of their own. Before each fight, a crystal ball plays it out ahead of time and tells you your odds.

Play together

Online co-op for two over Steam. Each player builds their own squad, you fight the same horde side by side, and you can trade words, bodies and gear, or fuse your creature with your partner's.

And after the run

• Endless mode: the horde mutates after every boss. How far can you go?

• Today's seed: the same run for everyone, one attempt

• Ghost squads: fight the saved armies of other players from the leaderboard
