Original Steam description

A medieval market square. About a hundred people going about their day. Up to eight of them are carrying knives.
Crowd of Knives is an online PvP stealth game for 4 to 8 players, set in a medieval town where you look and move just like everyone else. No outlines. No nameplates. Just a crowd of strangers, some of whom are trying to kill you.
Everyone hunts the same marked targets. Get there first, pick your moment, and disappear into the crowd before anyone notices.
But if someone witnesses your kill, they know who you are. And there's a bounty waiting for whoever takes you down.
Ten minutes. Most points wins. Trust no one.

You look like everyone else. Move with the crowd, stop at stalls, change direction, and try not to give yourself away.

Targets appear around the square for everyone. Find them before the other hunters do, get close, and decide when it is safe to strike.

See another player kill someone and you can hunt them for a bounty. The same rule works against you, so getting the kill is only half the job.

Get spotted and the hunt flips on you. Break line of sight, use smoke or disguise, and disappear back into the crowd before they catch you.
Features
4-8 players, 10-minute matches. Die and you return to the crowd as someone new.
Hide in a living crowd. Players use the same bodies, clothes and movement as everyone around them.
No player outlines or nameplates. You have to work out who is real by watching how they behave.
Witness a kill, hunt the killer. Spot another player's attack and they become worth a bounty.
Several abilities. Dagger, sprint, bow, disguise, smoke, poison and more.
Choose your moment. Kill the wrong person and you lose points.
