About the game

An adult romance visual novel about Owen Pascoe, a struggling English coach operator sent across the Channel on a civic errand. Choose one of three distinct routes as a herring fair, a hungry local paper, and two watchful towns turn private romance into public news.

Original Steam description

Across the Channel

Owen Pascoe runs a struggling coach company in Marlsea, a Channel town with too few contracts and too many opinions. When a long-silent letter arrives from Saint-Aubry-sur-Mer—Marlsea's French twin town—Owen is sent on a last-minute diplomatic errand with a tiny budget and the scraps of schoolboy French he still trusts.

Across the water, a herring fair, a hungry local paper, and three women with three plans for him turn a civic photo-op into something personal. Choose one of three distinct romance routes as private decisions become public news in two towns where everyone watches.

Meet the Cast

Sidonie Vasseur — “Madame Pays”
Sidonie is the formidable owner of Saint-Aubry's casino and seafront properties: generous, precise, and used to solving every problem with money before anyone can object. She offers Owen success on a silver platter while testing whether he can be kept and still be wanted for himself.

Kirsty Nunn — “Under the Coach”
Kirsty is Owen's mechanic and second driver: all competence, bruised knuckles, and unfinished sentences. Their connection rests on six years of shared work and unspoken loyalty, until a breakdown, a private doubt, and a resignation force Owen to see the woman he has been missing.

Capucine Hamel — “The Girl in the Costume”
Quick-witted Capucine is drafted by her mayor uncle to play Owen's perfect “fiancée” for the cameras at Saint-Aubry's herring fair. Their public performance becomes a game as the town's enthusiasm raises the stakes for both of them.

Key Features

  • Three romance routes, one decisive choice: Commit early to Capucine, Kirsty, or Sidonie, each with distinct stakes and a different side of Owen.
  • Small-town consequences: Navigate two communities where nothing stays private and every rumor or congratulation carries weight.
  • Conflict without villains: Face messy feelings, public pressure, and the cost of being seen.
  • Relationship-first storytelling: Follow arrangements that evolve, boundaries that shift, and what remains when the original reason stops mattering.
  • A grounded cross-Channel setting: Visit rainy coach yards, ferry corridors, smokehouses, social clubs, and seafront hotels.

Adult Content

Each romance route includes explicit adult scenes. Intended for audiences aged 18 and over.
