In Baseline Boss you are the head coach of a pro basketball team. Every lineup, every timeout and every signing ends up on the scoreboard. The game is simulated possession by possession, and you watch it unfold live.Game day: tactics board meets comic highlights
Follow every possession live on the tactics board, with the ball dribbling, passing and flying to the rim. When it matters, the broadcast cuts to a hand-drawn comic highlight in your club colors: dunks, blocks, steals, buzzer-beaters.Change tactics, call timeouts and sub players without ever leaving the game. A PA announcer and a commentary duo call the action.
A story worth playing
You start out coaching a kids' school team. Then one halftime show changes everything, and the club owner offers you a job with his pro team. Every away trip, every win and every big moment is told as a short motion comic with voices.Trash-talk duels
At halftime, rival coaches come for you, and you fire back. Pick the right comeback and the fans love you. Pick the wrong one and you may end up quoting a three-headed monkey.Your HQ, your roster
Every game day starts at your desk: today's mission, the next opponent, the situation report. From there you open the files for roster, tactics, contracts, scouting and press.Every player has a personnel file with ratings, personality, contract and season stats. You decide who starts.
