Retro arcade action in a modern 3D voxel world. VOXFRAG is a single-player, top-down twin-stick arena shooter where enemy ships break into glowing fragments and every wave gives you another chance to shape your build.

Dodge incoming fire, dash through danger and turn the wreckage into your next upgrade. Charge STORM, unleash a spinning ring of fragments and finish with a shockwave. Close passes by enemy bullets reward your nerve with score and STORM charge.

FIVE SECTORS. FIVE BOSSES.

Fight through four waves in each sector, with distinct colour schemes and enemy encounters backed by an electronic soundtrack. Face THE CARRIER, a voxel dreadnought that breaks apart cube by cube, and discover the guardians waiting beyond it.

BUILD A SHIP THAT FITS YOUR PLAYSTYLE

Choose VECTOR's balanced blasters, LANCE's piercing railgun or HALO's fast fan-spread volleys.

Choose from 30 upgrade cards, from common to legendary, and combine their effects to change how your ship fights. Choose from three cards after each wave; a permanent hangar upgrade can add a fourth choice.

EVERY RUN LEAVES SOMETHING BEHIND

Spend collected shards on ships and eight permanent hangar upgrades, with 23 upgrade levels in total. Keep your collected shards even when a run ends in defeat.

Victories unlock tougher Overdrive runs, up to level 10. Reach the final sector to unlock Endless mode, keep chasing your personal best and work towards 28 Steam achievements.

A successful campaign can take around 15 minutes; completion time varies. Each run is played in one session, with no mid-run save. Unlocked ships, hangar upgrades, achievement progress, records and settings are saved locally.

ABOVE THE CITY, INSIDE THE ARENA

The year is 2137. AI has helped create a prosperous world, and holographic arena battles have become a global spectator sport.

High above the city's skyscrapers, famous pilots compete on giant projected fields. You are one of them. Take your ship into the arena and prove you deserve the spotlight.

PLAY YOUR WAY

Play with keyboard and mouse or a controller, with remappable bindings. Adjust controller dead zones, swap the sticks and tune vibration strength.

Choose your graphics preset, render scale and frame-rate limit. Auto-fire and Assist Mode are available; runs using Assist Mode are marked on the results screen.

Reduce Flashing, adjustable screen shake, and optional chromatic aberration and film grain let you tune the visual effects.

SEVEN LANGUAGE VARIANTS

English, German, Spanish (Spain), French, Hungarian, Portuguese (Portugal) and Portuguese (Brazil).

OFFLINE AND DRM-FREE

Play offline and without DRM. Your settings and permanent progress are stored on your computer.

When Steam Cloud is enabled, Steam synchronizes your permanent progress save and its backup between your computers. Graphics, audio and control settings stay local.

PHOTOSENSITIVITY

Contains flashing lights and rapid changes in brightness. Reduce Flashing is available in Settings, but does not eliminate the risk.
