Characters
Aurora never really had friends. Even after transitioning, she found that things were simpler if she just kept to herself. Her one biggest pleasure in life? Exterminating ghosts. Aurora hates those damn pests and takes great pleasure in watching them squirm.
So when Nicole holes up in her apartment, Aurora wants her out. NOW.

Nicole Barnes hates being dead. No one would like it, obviously, but after over a hundred years of this bullshit, she's determined to put a stop to it. Yeah, she's had her fun possessing women and making them squirm, but she wants something more... finite. You know, until death do they part.
When she meets Aurora, Nicole sees her escape—and her final victim.

A social butterfly, chipper, and everything that Aurora isn't, Amy Hawkins seems elated to see Aurora after a ghost invades her house. But the Amy she meets is nothing like the real thing—she's cold, calculating, and predatory. The way she sneers sends chills up Aurora's spine.
In actuality, Amy is the victim of a ghostly possession. And somehow, that's less scary than what Amy really is inside.
