About the game

You're a mercenary space-ship captain. Drop war machines and infantry from orbit, call down orbital strikes, and micro every unit in slow motion. No base building, no mining, just combat. Every unit you lose costs Credits to replace.

Descripción original de Steam

The contract

You're a mercenary space-ship captain. Somebody out there needs a job done, they pay in Credits, and you don't ask too many questions. You drop from orbit, get it done, and get your people out. Grim industrial sci-fi: human steel on somebody else's world.

The drop

Missions are real-time tactics. No mining, no base building, just combat. You hold ground, push forward, and break whatever keeps the enemy coming.

Infantry fight in squads and bring grenades, jet packs and stims. War machines and turrets carry a bunch of weapons, some locked onto your target and some picking their own. Jump jets, sprint servos and an energy ram change how a machine moves.

Your mothership stays up in orbit. Its strike bays call down orbital guns, barrages, scans, or a Las Array that burns a line you drag across the ground. Drop pods bring in turrets, ammo, med crates, and scout drones that reveal the fog of war.

Perfect micro

This is really what the game is about. Slow motion is always one press of Space away, so you can respond perfectly to any situation, micro every unit, and manage their abilities flawlessly. Pull a damaged mech back, land jump jets exactly where you want them, time every grenade and orbital strike.

Between missions

Spend your Credits in the Black Market. The Armory is where you build your machines: pick a chassis, a movement rig, gear and weapons, and make it yours. It's also where you fit your mothership's strike bays, and different motherships change how much you can bring and what you can call down.

The galaxy map takes you world to world. On each world you pick your contract, and later worlds throw meaner versions of everything at you.

Every loss costs you

Anything that dies on a mission has to be replaced with Credits. Lose a mech and that's a big chunk of your paycheck gone. So you play smart: pull damaged units back, use the slow-mo, and don't throw your army away for a cheap win. Fail or abort a contract and you don't get paid either.

Single-player, mouse and keyboard, English.
