Description d’origine sur Steam

Eat. Evolve. Multiply. Rule the ocean!

Cell Dominion is a survival and evolution game where you develop your cell and build your own colony in a microscopic ocean.

Start as a tiny, defenseless cell. Gather nutrients, evolve your genes, build new organelles, and grow stronger. Once you are big enough, divide and multiply, build a colony of cells that share your DNA, and take command of it.

But you are not alone in this ocean! Other players are evolving their cells, expanding their colonies, and fighting to survive. Battle them, protect your colony, and prepare for unexpected world events such as a Salmonella invasion or a toxin cloud.

Grow from a single cell into a powerful colony. Evolve, survive, and earn your place in the ocean!

Story Mode: The War Against Infection

This time, you are a macrophage. Your mission: fight an infection that threatens the body!

Travel through blood vessels, explore infected areas, and battle the dangerous bacteria in your path. Collect gene fragments to support the immune system and contribute to antibody production.

  • Fight bacteria: Find the bacteria behind the infection, hunt them down, and stop them from spreading.

  • Explore the body: Travel through blood vessels, investigate different regions, and face new threats.

  • Collect gene fragments: Gather gene fragments as you fight bacteria and help the immune system produce antibodies.

An invisible war is raging inside the body. And this time, you are part of its defenses!

Evolve Your Cell

Eating alone will not keep you alive. Use the resources you gather to develop your cell and shape your own play style.

  • Eat and digest: Break down drifting nutrients and store amino acids, sugars, lipids, and nucleotides.

  • Build your organelles: Boost energy production with mitochondria, generate an electric field with an electroplast, and obscure your enemies’ vision with an ink sac.

  • Evolve your genes: Hunt to collect gene fragments. Move faster with a flagellum, strengthen your defenses with protective spines, grab your targets with hunter arms, or gradually weaken enemies with viruses.

How your cell evolves is up to you. Become a fast hunter, a resilient fighter, or a resourceful survivor who stays clear of danger.

From a Single Cell to a Colony

Surviving alone can be difficult. But once you have grown strong enough, you no longer have to fight alone!

  • Divide and multiply: Gather the resources you need and split your cell in two. Every division adds a new member to your colony.

  • Command your colony: Set your cells to aggressive, balanced, or defensive behavior. Have them fight together or act independently.

  • Recruit new allies: Bring cells from other colonies into your own and grow stronger.

From one tiny cell, build an entire colony that grows under your command.

Build Your Own Organism

Design and manage a living organism of your own in a separate game mode, independent of the main ocean gameplay!

Build organs and tissues, establish production systems, and prepare your organism for waves of dangerous invaders. Every structure has a purpose, and keeping your organism alive takes careful planning.

  • Build organs and tissues: Create different biological structures and connect them to form a functioning organism.

  • Manage production: Produce essential resources and keep your biological systems running.

  • Defend against invasions: Build defenses and withstand waves of hostile invaders.

Build, produce, and defend. Can your organism survive?

A Living Ocean, Unexpected Threats

Other players are not the only danger in the online ocean. World events can disrupt even the strongest colony’s plans.

  • Salmonella Invasion: Fight dangerous bacteria that emerge in the ocean and protect your colony.

  • Toxin Cloud: Avoid toxic clouds, find safe areas, and stay alive.

  • Dynamic World Events: Adapt to unexpected dangers. Fight when you need to, and retreat when the situation demands it.

An area that seems safe today could become deadly for your colony tomorrow!

What Lies Beyond the Fog?

You cannot see the entire microscopic ocean. Other cells, predators, and dangers may be waiting just beyond your field of view.

Upgrade your sensors to see farther, manage your energy wisely, and choose the right moment to act. Sprint to catch your prey or escape an enemy stronger than you.

Sometimes, survival depends on knowing when to retreat.

How Will You Play?

  • Multiplayer: Survive alongside real players in a shared ocean. Develop your cell, expand your colony, battle other colonies, and face dynamic world events.

  • Story Mode: Journey through the body as a macrophage, fight bacteria, and help the immune system combat an infection.

  • Single Player: Play on your own, develop your cell, command your colony, and explore the microscopic world.

  • Organism Mode: Design your own organism, build organs and tissues, manage resource production, and defend your biological systems against invasions.

Customize Your Cell

Shape your cell’s appearance as well as its abilities!

Create a distinctive cell with different patterns, cell colors, ink colors, and visual effects. Choose a bold look or keep it simple. Your abilities and strategy are what make the difference in battle.

Eat. Evolve. Divide. Multiply.

Start as a single cell, build your own colony, and survive in the world of Cell Dominion!
