ONE MOUNTAIN, ONE GOAL
That Mountain Needs to Fall is a short incremental game about dwarves, Norse mythology and mining.
Damage the rock to send ore flying, haul it to the Warehouse, sell, build and raise an army, call on the powers of the gods and receive Odin's blessings.
Destroy the mountain 10 times, each one tougher than the last, and win.
MINE, HAUL, SELL, UPGRADE
Break. Deal damage, knock ore loose.
Grab. Every chunk flies off the rock, lands in the collection area and piles up. Carriers pick it up and walk it to the Warehouse. If they fall behind, the pile just keeps growing.
Sell for gold and spend it on houses, new dwarves and upgrades. Or send the ore to the Forge and smelt it into material for better gear.
THE SKY WORKS TOO
Each mountain can bring an event: lightning striking the rock, a starfall, a hurricane that sucks up the ore, a snowball rolling down the slope, an eclipse that stores your damage and releases it in a flash. And sometimes Nidhogg flies overhead and sets everything on fire.
A VILLAGE FULL OF UPGRADES
Build a whole village at the foot of the mountain. Every building has its own shop, and many upgrades stay hidden until you earn them.
UNLEASH RAGNAROK, RETURN WITH ODIN'S BLESSINGS
Every mountain you bring down earns Odin points, but you can only spend them after the end of the world. When you're ready, unleash Ragnarok: you lose your gold, your dwarves and your village, and keep Odin's favor with game-changing upgrades.
