Bean in a Ball Pit

A few beans. A whole lot of balls.

A handful of little beans are hiding at the bottom of a very big ball pit. Your job sounds simple: find them all. Getting there is where things get delightfully out of hand.

Bean in a Ball Pit is a single-player, first-person physics playground about digging through colorful chaos and building machines to help clear the way.

Get your hands dirty

Wade into the pile and start throwing. Every ball you sink in the collection hole earns a dollar, and the rare gold and rainbow ones pay 5x and 25x. Spend it at the old computer tucked into the pit's wall: a second hand, a longer reach, a bucket that scoops eight at a time, and a laptop so you never have to walk back to the shop again.

Then the tools get bigger. Bulldoze a path with the pusher, suck up a whole tank with the vacuum and shoot it back out, blow a crater with the leaf blower, or load the grenade launcher with balls and ride the blast.

Build your own cleanup operation

Unlock machines in the shop, then build as many as you can afford with the Build tool. Lay curved conveyor belts, split and merge them, and feed hoppers, elevators and ball cannons. Send sweeper bots out to collect, assign haulers to your hoppers and put claw cranes to work. Roll balls down chutes, shoot them up from fountains, bounce them off trampolines and blow them through chains of wind rings for a combo bonus. String ziplines across the pit to get around fast, and grow the collection hole until it swallows everything.

Keep it practical, or see just how elaborate your setup can become. A map shows your whole operation from above, and the stats screen shows where every dollar came from.

The bean hunt

Every bean you uncover flies off to join a floating row and grants a boost for the rest of the round. Stuck? The echo pinger tells you how far away the nearest bean is, never which way. Find the last one to stop the clock and chase your best time.

How big a pit can you handle?

Choose from four sizes, Easy to Extreme, with 4 to 12 beans to find, and pick a layout: Classic, Long, Deep, Round or Pillars. Start with a smaller search, or take on an enormous pit holding over a million balls.
