Original Steam description
KingG_RL is a fast-paced first-person action RPG built around short, replayable runs.
The goal is simple: create a game that can be completed in under two hours, while making every run feel different and engaging.
Explore procedurally generated levels, fight enemies, discover powerful items and adapt to what the game gives you. There are no character classes and no fixed builds. Instead, your playstyle develops during each run.
Every run is different
Procedural generation and RNG determine what you encounter and which items you find. You can start a run with a random seed and face a new challenge every time, or use the same seed to replay an identical run.
A fixed seed lets you learn the level, experiment with different approaches and try to improve your performance.
Build your own playstyle
Every item can be used as soon as you find it. There are no class restrictions preventing you from experimenting with different combinations.
Upgrade your items, gain experience and decide how you want to develop your character. Your build is shaped by the items you find and the choices you make along the way.
Short runs, meaningful choices
KingG_RL is designed around compact runs that can be completed in less than two hours. Each run is intended to be a complete experience, while procedural generation, RNG and different build possibilities provide reasons to play again.
