You, Me, and a Beautiful Lie -CLASSIC REMASTER- is a remastered version of a short freeware visual novel released in the past.

While preserving the original artwork, atmosphere, gameplay, and overall tone as faithfully as possible, the game has been rebuilt so that it can be enjoyed on modern PCs.

The protagonist, Shintaro, is a 20-year-old university student.

At the same university is Akino, his best friend, who is also 20 years old.

The two met through their shared love of music,

and before long, they began spending almost every day together.

Mature, calm, and somewhat mysterious,

Akino once asked Shintaro:

“Will you stay by my side　and always be my friend?”

Friendship.　Admiration.　Jealousy.

And an obsession that slowly begins to take another shape.

The closer they become,

the more strongly Shintaro finds himself drawn to Akino.

Then, the two of them take a trip together to an inn surrounded by autumn leaves.

There, a single choice causes their relationship

to change forever.

What secret is Akino hiding?

And what is the “beautiful lie” that exists between them?

A fleeting and slightly twisted story

about the friendship and obsession between two young men.
