About the game

A game based on chess. Solve 50 puzzles on boards of every kind and shape, with different types of tiles. Mechanics and rules that are a little crazy but a lot of fun.

Descripción original de Steam

Based on the age-old game of chess.

Crazy Chess is a turn-based puzzle game with irregular boards and a few crazy mechanics. Guide your lone knight across the boards with one clear goal: grab the orb that activates the portal to the next level. Learn the mechanics, play smart and, if you feel up to it, try to solve every puzzle while collecting the three stars in each level.

Every move counts

  • Enemy pieces move after you, each in its own way. Capture them or slip past.

  • Transformations turn your knight into a pawn, a rook or a bishop and make you read the whole board differently.

  • Ice sends you sliding until something stops you. Come to rest with no move left and you freeze.

  • Fire spreads every turn and chases you, burning tiles, pieces and items.

  • Bombs tick down and take out everything around them.

No luck involved

No dice and no hidden rules. The same moves always lead to the same result, so every level has a solution you can work out... and three stars for those who want the hard route.

Features

  • 50 levels that bring in a new idea every few boards, and an ending waiting after the last one.

  • 150 stars to collect: 3 in every level.

  • Level editor, unlocked when you finish the game: build boards, beat them and share them as a text code.

  • Records on shared levels: who can step on the most tiles?

  • 4 player profiles on the same computer.

  • Available in 9 languages.
