About the game

An idle cultivation game that lives in the corner of your desktop. Meditate for Qi, break through realms by hand, hunt monsters for gear, and keep cultivating after you close the window.

Original Steam description

Cultivation · Desktop Pet

An idle cultivation game that lives in the corner of your desktop.

No fullscreen window, no loading bars, and it never steals your focus — just a tiny transparent window clinging to the edge of your screen, where your character sits in meditation, breathes in and out, and accumulates cultivation. You do your thing; it does its own.

🧘 Sitting in Meditation Is Enough

Cultivation grows automatically over time, with no cap, and once you've saved enough you can break through multiple times in a row.

Breakthroughs must be triggered manually: layers 1–8 are the regular grind, but crossing a major realm is where it really counts — a perfect breakthrough gives +2 to your Dao Foundation, a non-perfect one gives +1. Across ten major realms, your Dao Foundation multiplier climbs all the way from ×1.15 to ×1.50.

Failure doesn't punish you either: it only deducts 25% of the cultivation required for that layer (10% for major realms), never resets to zero, never demotes you, and comes with a loss-streak safety net.

⚔️ Descending the Mountain to Slay Demons

When your cultivation is high enough, you head down the mountain. A side-scrolling journey ever rightward — encounter a monster, start fighting, 50 per stage, and you automatically advance to the next stage once it's cleared.

Every 9 stages there's a stage boss — landing exactly on the final stage of each realm. A boss has 4× the combat power of a normal demon beast, a larger body, a red glow, a title, and a health bar. Slay it and you're guaranteed a good drop with a quality floor.

If you can't win, you really do fall: once your HP hits zero you're exhausted, losing 20% of your cultivation on the current route and retreating one stage. But your equipment and progress don't move a single bit — the worst sin of an idle game is "coming back to find you idled all night for nothing."

🗡️ Nine Slots, Six Quality Tiers

Weapon · Natal Artifact · Protective Artifact · Top · Headwear · Bottom · Hand Accessory · Necklace · Shoes.

Equipment is worn directly on your character, colored by quality: white Mortal · green Spirit · purple Dharma Treasure · gold Spirit Treasure · red Immortal Artifact · rainbow Divine Artifact — the rainbow tier's colors flow over time.

You can only wear one Divine Artifact globally: only one of the nine slots can hold it, and choosing who wears it is a real decision.

Unwanted equipment is smelted into Spirit Stones; three items of the same realm and quality can be combined into one of the next tier up (a 3-for-1 losing deal — its purpose is to turn junk into a finished piece for a specific slot, not to farm combat power).
