Example Modifiers:

He adds +2 to his total. He always holds an Ace. He wins on 22. He copies your best card.

Your passives die at his door. Only your items come with you.

Beat him and a Legendary perk is yours.

Beat the Late Ace at level 60 and a second ladder opens. Choose a permanent wound at the door, climb all sixty levels carrying it, and its reward is unlocked forever.
