The Prison Incident

Coming soon

JossuranDiscovered Oct 13, 2026

About the game

Reconstruct a fatal prison riot by reverse-engineering deleted terminal logs and determine how each person involved in The Prison Incident meets their end.

Original Steam description

They are waiting for your report.

You have been assigned to investigate the prison incident. It was nothing, or maybe a fire, or perhaps a mutiny, no one knows, and there is no one left.

The facility's surveillance cameras recorded all incidents and preserved their transcripts. However, the index database has been wiped. You need to restore the logs, reconstruct the final hours of the prison, and figure out exactly who did what, where, and to whom.

It is your job, do it, and submit your report!

How to Play

Your primary tool is a fax-like terminal connected to the Global Database.

Enter the precise filename of a camera log to print its transcript directly onto your desk. Read each log carefully and use the clues within to trace the movement of staff, inmates and visitors during the prison's final hour.

To support you investigation, you also have access to a Photo Directory, Floor maps and a Notepad.  Cross-reference the available information to determine for each person:

  • Where they died.

  • How they died.

  • Who killed them.

In the long line of detective games, submit three verified reports to validate your deductions and progress through the investigation.

Summary

  • Pure deduction gameplay: Rely entirely on your own logic and cross-referencing skills.

  • Deep Terminal System: Use camera logs, the photo directory, and prison maps to conduct your investigations.

  • Unravel the incident: Reconstruct the final hour of the prison by cross-referencing clues, movements, and identities.

  • Narrative Puzzle: Uncover a rich story of drama, betrayal, murder, but also hope.

  • Focused experience: Around 5 hours to complete.
